Buttons and hyperlink text have been updated for better support in Outlook, stopping Outlook from changing the link color to blue or purple.
In this update, we decided to change all IDs to Classes. The reasoning behind this was to ensure the boilerplate could become flexible when used as a template in ESPs like Mailchimp. You can now duplicate a block without needing to give it another ID.
When testing templates on Outlook 2016, some background colors of the email body were showing through tables. The fix was to ensure no <td> elements had any font styles applied to them. Removing code line 54 fixed this issue in all instances.
